50K service question

Hi, I am getting ready to do teh 50k on my 03 Ram 2500hd 4x4. I want to go to synthetic. What is a great brand and how many quarts for each pumkin? I do not have the shop book for this rig. thanks. BC:bananalama:

Most large name synthetics are all so close performance wise to eachother there never really is a difference. My personal choice is Mobil1, and I use that in all my vehicles, but it is strictly personal choice from seeing how stuff looks internally when things come apart.

jsut my .02

I went with Royal Purple in my rear differential, but it is costly, but my Ram is relatively new still, i bought an aftermarket cover at the same time, larger capacity & heavier duty

i would just go with any brand that you trust
LUCAS oil has been around for years, it is sold everywhere, even at the 4x4 stores
just make sure it has GL4 or GL5 on the bottle
you may or may Not need the LSD additive

like stated above, lucas, mobile, RP are alll good. I think its about 2 qts each, fill it up about 1/2inch below the hole.
