2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Towing?

Hey guys just a quick question about towing. I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7l Hemi with the factory class 4 towing hitch. My question is how much trailer weight can i tow? i have a 23' boat that weighs 4000lbs + trailer, that i bought a week ago. ive already towed the boat once it seemed ok as long as i put it in to Tow mode on the truck. Mainly i just want to make sure that im not going to destroy my truck.

2007 Ram 1500's maximum towing capacity is 3750 lb with V6, 7650 with 4.7 V8, 9100 with 5.7.

Those are all right numbers, but if you have 3.55 gears the max for the 5.7 is 8700 or 8900 cant remember.

With the 3.55's it's 8700. Yer good as far as the boat.

I'm sure those numbers are with a WDH. They will normally be cut in half without one.
