I would say get a filter for humidifier a small one and find some way to rig that into a bunch of soda cans lol. probably should not take that into consideration, but it would be interesting to see if something ghetto rigged like that could be created =)

I purchased a K&N cai filter and used whiote drainage tube with a elbow. Cost painted was approx. $65.00:smileup:

lots of home made ones on here just do a search.there are mostly made from 3 inch pvc from furnace exhausts they handle heat well.local home depot/lowes/bulding supply.some have them custom bent from stainless steel(muffler shop) then you buy a cone filter for the end.you tube has a few examples as well

I got the CAI filter from Napa and the white drainage tubing all from local hardware store.

Homemade CAI

I went to Home Depot , got some 3" pvc , a 90 degree coupler and a straight coupler. I am going to use the stock airbox but get rid of the airhat. Cost me around $27.

I don't even have to paint the tube, it's black.

Good for you! lol, Most diy jobs end up with an open filter under the hood, this hot air hurts performance, no matter how cool it looks lol.
