Cold Air intake for offroading..

Soo i really want a CAI but recently I went offroading at silver lake sand dunes and really had a blast.. Definitely wanna go back..

Now I'm worried about getting any CAI that isn't a sealed box...

Mind you offroading consists of mud puddles, sand dunes, beaches, and drag strip..

Any insight??

I have a volant and I love it.

Did you feel a big difference dillon?

Supposedly Volant's newest filter is water proof. Yeah, that's what I thought too, but read up on it and see what you think.

I put it on right when I did my programmer so it's hard to tell. I can definitely hear the difference though. I also was getting better mpgs.

i would second the volant apparently its just as good as all the other brands but its in a sealed box.....im actually thinking of getting the same

Are they water proof or water resistant? I know the oil I use on my dirtbike filters is supposed to wick away water from the filter but its still gonna suck it through.
Curious about this aswell now

I would also vote for the Volant.....also run the pre-filter in the sand

The Volant or the new S&B with the pre-filter mentioned above should do well for you. Good luck.
