Exhaust to my 2011 longhorn.

Basically I need some suggestions, because honestly the stock exhaust is very quiet on the inside. I know a lot of you guys don't like noise in the cabin but I love hearing my truck. My fathers G55 AMG has probably the best exhaust set up I have ever experienced. Cruising you can hear it but its not obnoxiously loud but once you step on it it screams louder then anything I have ever been in. Market wise I am not seeing much besides magnaflow and flowmasters but there has to be others so I figured most of you know your shit damn well and I would like to hear it from the people that know it the best and not the people that just want to sell their product.

I had a Magnaflow 12288 put on mine. It sounded pretty good before I put the CAI on. And now with the CAI on it sounds even better.

It was pretty cheap too.

180 for the muffler and 80 for the install.

You could look into the Corsa DB system. Its the one i with, but i havent recieved it yet... :(

judging by the experience I have with Corsa and Corvettes/Camaros its the sound your looking for

True, the Corsa sounds awesome. It's also awesomely expensive. :D

Borla, Flowmaster, Magnaflow are all good systems. It's a matter of what sounds good to you, not what sounds good to us. It's hard to pick a system for someone else.

Having said that, I like the 18" Magnaflow mufflers. Not too bad while cruising, nice deep tone, hell unleashed when you open it up.

Borla is pretty much like the Magnaflows with just a bit higher tone at speed.

Flowmaster has so many different setups now that I haven't stayed up on them. I can say from personal experience that the Flowmasters will sound different as they are a chambered design.

The rule of thumb is the longer the muffler case, the quieter the muffler.

I'm runnin Flowmasters Super 44 and i love it!!! Its fairly quiet off the gas and nice and ear splitting to the little old lady your passin when you get on it!! I love the sound of my HEMI and my Cooper STT's howlin down the road! But its up to u how loud u want it to be.

I forget not everyone buys direct from the manufacturer @ jobber or less pricing lol.

I haven't payed retail on any auto part for 4-5 years because Ive been lucky enough to be working sales at some sort of performance shop lol.

Has anyone had a stock system straight piped before? I know my camaro sounded best when I had the stock muffler replaced and let it like that.
