used fabtech lift

Guys, I am thinking about purchasing a used 6" fabtech lift for my 02 QC 4x4. Any thoughts on purchasing a lift that was on a truck for a year? Looks brand new. If I went with this I would probably go with 35's. Anyone out there running 6" lift with 35's and putting it in the garage? Just wondering if it will get thru a 7' garage door. Thanks!

I would be conserned that there are a couple of bolts, a bracket, shims or something that was not removed, or even not needed on the installed vehicle bu needed on yours that doesn't end up in your hands. This would cause you more trouble than you will save by going with a used kit as opposed to buying a new one.

Maybe I should mention, the price is $500 for the used Fabtech 6" lift. Pretty good deal considering the $1800 I have seen them online for...

To me $500 sounds like alot of problems. I would be really cautious. Maybe get the manual/install guide, and verify all parts are there and unaltered. I would also find out if you can purchase missing parts (just incase you are missing any) from the MFG and they aren't an exorbitant price.
