Dashboard & A/C Trouble!!!
So I'm glad this has happened at the end of summer and not the beginning....

The other day I turned the ignition and heard a loud clicking coming from the center of the dash board, and the climate control knobs were unresponsive. No A/C air or fan (no wind) coming from the vents. Ugh... clicking goes on for about 15 seconds and then stops... after about another 30 seconds, the A/C comes on and everything is working normally....

I have seen the recall for manual climate control, but I'm not sure that applies to my Laramie that has the automatic crap in it. I haven't seen any other recalls that might apply.

Yes recall k17 should apply to your vehicle, for auto temp controls usually the tech will just have to reprogram the hvac control head, and recalibrate.

My dad had an 07 3500 and the blower motor would go from high to low and sometime shut off

Hello All, I have a question about this issue. I have a 2009 1500 and was told I had a recall for the Hvac 9 months after I bought the truck, I took the truck to the dealer and all was fine untill about year after I started to hear clicking noises when I started it.
I had it looked at and was told a actuator was the issue but not to worry about it ( yes I know first mitake) any way now I only get air to the floor and chrysler says too bad so sad.
I have a arbitration hearing thru CVAMP here in Canada about this and was wondering if anyone else has gone this route yet and what the outcome was?
Thanks James

I just had this clicking sound fixed. it was the actuator for your climate controls. I only had air to the floor. I was told it was covered by the recall and didnt have to pay a thing for it.
