Bringing Her Back to Life
AL member is bringing 96 Dodge Ram Sport back to life to plan for mountain retirement in Western NC. I started last year with the trans and had a seal kit installed. Engine electronics was beefed to include a dual battery system (photos provided) and 200 amp alternator. Black, extendable, electric mirrors have also been installed. The plastic front bumper was replaced by a wrap-a-round steel bumper with 10,000 pound WARN winch. Have just completed installing a permanent base rack on the roof. I have a yakima mega warrior rack with 1,000 watts, 360 degree off road lighting that I am working on. I have an idea how I'm going to bring the lights into the cab, but I'm open to suggestions. The three items I have left are the rear bumper, new dash and a 200 watt, 10 meter radio and maybe a topper to cover the bed. The bed covers look nice, but are too limiting for me. The last item will be the NITTO 33' tires. I would be happy to entertain questions addressing the modifications.
Hi, things look like they are moving along in the rebuild. Thanks for the pic!:rep:
