Its a bit cold in the mornings but this is the second time its happend and it works just fine on all the other mornings ive started it.any ideas whats wrong with it?

No ideas on this?

I had to play with my instrument panel light control to brighten my display
then i went into the radios Menu & set my radio lights to a different setting, i forget what the options were
that may or may not be what you need to do

No ideas at all except since it worked before, you may have a failing head unit.

Idk the truck is brand new with only1500 miles on it so i would hope its not failing already

It's been known to happen. That's why you have a warranty.

Any updates, was there a fix or was a new unit required??I am having exactly the same issue with my 2012 laramie. Not really excited about having the dealer rip apart my dash, been there in the past was the start of rattles and creaks as hard to reach clips and bolts did not find their way back into place.
Any ideas? Thanks Darryl

there are about 6 screws holding the center dash in place & 4 more holding the radio itself in

no clips, nothing to rattle
