Loose sidesteps. How to tighten?

My sidesteps on the driver side have come loose. I can feel the loose nut (bolt?) where it connects under my rear door and inside the door sill. Trouble is, I can't figure out where to access the part of the bolt inside the door sill. I could probably just google the instructions for the Mopar sidesteps, but that wouldn't give me an excuse to make a post on this forum...

So, can anyone help me out here? The rattling is starting to drive me nuts!

Thanks,

~Bones

Edit: I just realized I may be in the wrong sub forum. Mine's a third gen I guess. Maybe the process is the same? Or maybe a nice mod will move this where it belongs...

you should just have to tighten down the bolts, i'm not sure if there is a nut on the end.

As he ^^^^ said, just get that bolt threaded back in to the nutsert behind the panel and tighten it up.

Thanks... that's all it was. When I turned it with my fingers it just spun, but as soon as I actually used a socket, it threaded right in.
