Electric Fan conversion

So I have been looking at this TCP fan conversion. Has anyone done this an what can I expect to see out of this? It seems as though HP will increase and temp will drop but how exactly? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

By having a mechanical fan, some power that the engine produces is used up turning the fan, so if you remove it you gain back some power that was lost. I think most people say this is about 10hp gain. You then add the electric fan to keep the engine cool, obviously. The electric fan also usually cools better as it turns on and off exactly when it needs to based on a temperature reading from a sensor...

Do you have a link to the location where the e-fan conversion is? I'd be interested in doing one of these since it seems it will pay off.

Sorry I don't know where it is. Try maybe sending Kay9 a message I think he's done the swap. Some others have as well....do some more searching on the forum maybe?

It's a pretty simple conversion that can be done in a couple hours. If you want a step by step drop me a pm and I can give you the steps needed to do the conversion.
