optional tire sizes for 20in rim

I have a question for all you 20in rim owners. I am considering purchasing new tires for winter up here in minnesota. My question is what are the different sizes of tires that will fit on the rim? I know the OEM tire size is 275/60-20. I like the look of the 275/55-20 with the small sidewall. What other sizes will fit on this rim? Pictures with your responses would be great. Thanks in advanced!

Other than those 2 sizes we aren't left with too many choices.. Take a look at tirerack.com,,, they pretty much have all the tires that will fit on the 20" wheels and a number of different types of tires, ie, all terrain, sport, touring, etc..

Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but maybe buy a set of 17" wheels and Blizzaks? I am considering going this route since its cost effective. I also notice that the spare wheel on our trucks is a 17"......hmmm

I went to a 50 series (wider, slightly less sidewall) 305/50R20 Nitto Terra Grappler ...AWESOME Winter Tire!

I'm just looking for a bit of a over all shorter tire when it comes time to replace these factory 20" wranglers on my cc sport.

I went with a 305/55/20 and they fit great, They are the same size or slightly taller though. I will post some pics as soon as I can. You might be happy with the 305/50/20 like BlackRamHemi has though. Those look good!

Im going with 275 65 20 BFG All-Terrains. Way cheaper than 35s and will fit the stock rims without issues. I want to go with a 4'' lift also so im wondering how this size looks with that lift...havent found pics yet.

How do the grapplers do on dry roads/highways? Are they noisy? Do they wear well? I know lots of questions. Saw some in person on our vacation and REALLY liked them. Thought when it was time for tires might get them.
Thanks,
Jay

BlackRamHemi,
I like the look of your black wheels. I was thinking of getting some black SRT replicas.
The Plastidip seems to do the job though. I would like to try that instead.
Do you just do them black for the winter?
Does the coating peel off easily?
Do you have to do any special prep on the chrome before you Plasticoat them?

Thank's
