i bought a used dodge ram 1500 and thought it would be a good idea to have the tranny flushed since the fluid was black, since the flush i have been experiencing hard shifting it revs to almost 3000 rpms sometimes. the check engine light is not coming on so mechanics keep telling me its not the transmission, bought a 32 dollar bottle of atf conditioner and it didnt do much to help.......any advice?

Sometimes a flush does more harm than good. You wind up blowing debris into the valve body and that just gums things up. I'd have it removed and cleaned. While you're at it, have the return line spliced to remove that anti-drainback valve. They corrode shut and let your transmission fry.
