Put a 9.5 lb. pork shoulder on the Egg tonight with a couple of cherry wood chunks for smoke and of course, my homemade rub. Gonna let it smoke all night and well into tomorrow. Should take about 20 hours to get some awesome pulled pork. Well, at least I hope so. Putting faith, as always, in my BBQ Guru to control the fire while I sleep.

Took less time than I thought (which is not a bad thing). Cooked it for 15 1/2 hours then wrapped it in aluminum foil, put it inside an ice chest, covered with towels and let it rest for another two hours. Needless to say, it pulled apart like butter. Put a heaping handful on a bun with pepper jack cheese, spicy BBQ sauce and topped with bread and butter jalapeno mix. Plan to take the rest to my office tomorrow and prepare a surprise lunch for my co-workers.
