fuel economy savings

Has anyone found a fuel additive to help with mileage? or possibly any other mod/chip or anything other than driving 50 mph or 80k? Hemi 5.7

I'm waiting for the diablo programmer. That should help some but I can't complain I'm getting 18 mpg average.

I've found that driving down hill with a tail wind helps alot. J/K I just let cruise control do the work on the highway and I am getting 18-22mpg @ 65mph when I do that consistently. My wife does the same in her 2010 quad cab and it seems pretty consistent around there for her too. You just gotta keep the urge to blow granny grunt off the road under control!

Even if there was a fuel additive to improve gas milage it wouldn't be cost aefective. The additive would probably run you $5 or more and you would have to add it all the time therefore not really saving you anything. All the mods in the world aren't going to make a big difference in MPGs. You might be able to squeeze 1 or 3 more MPGs at best with better intake/exhaust/programer etc., but all that will cost you. It is what it is and the only way to effectively improve your milage is drastically change your driving habbits to "Granny Mode" or find a way to reduce the weight of the truck by 1000 pounds...lol. If there was a way to significantly improve MPGs I'm sure it would come with that mod from the factory and set the truck far above the current standards that these trucks are getting.
