Best Price on the Amp Research Power Steps

So it seems like the best price I can find on Amp Power steps for my 2011 Ram is around 1099....has anyone else bought these? Whats the best price you have got for these steps, and how about the performance.....any issues?

Thanks!

When i lived in CA I worked at a custom truck shop and OUR cost on them was $900, and we were below just normal jobber price. Those mf'ers are expensive!!!

IMO if your going to go with electric products like they are the only ones to get. The instructions are amazing, the fit/finish is amazing, and their great warrenty doesnt hurt either.

I weight 280 or so and they used to flex a little when Id stand on them, but we had 300+ lb customers have them for over a year and never have 1 issue with them

My buddy has them on his Chevy and they seem really nice. Hes a bigger guy and he has had 0 issues. I wish I could afford them and they would be on my truck. 1099 seems like a pretty good price, about average. I havn't seem them any cheaper anywhere else. I say go for it!!

Yeah Im either going to save up and get these AMP Research ones, or get N-Fab Black tube steps.......I really like the OEM look so it might be worth the wait..

The AMPs are amazing! I love them. They have the highest load rating of anything I have seen(600 lbs) and have the longest warranty(5 years). The only thing I don't like about them is the lights they send with it. I think they are cheap looking so I chose not to install them. Install is not hard but is time consuming. Shops want a ton to install them. If you read my build thread(link in my sig) I have a spot in there about my install. As far as price everywhere is pretty much the same price. They cost a lot for companies to buy so there isn't a lot of markup which means not much fluctuation in cost from place to place. I got lucky though. A friend of mine ordered them for me and sold them to me for his cost plus frieght. Let's just say it came out under 900 ;-)
