anyone change tb to bbk or fastman 85mm and did you need a new tune ? any reason to spend 200.00 more for bbk thanks

I don't know that a larger TB will help if you haven't modded the heads, done a cam and added headers that would require more flow.

I was reading a thread last night on some problems reading an aftermarket TB sensor so I'd be asking about compatibility if you go forward with this.

^I agree with that, no need to go larger on a stock or near stock flowing engine. Could possibly even lose low end power if too large of a TB.

I would get the standard mod for 100 bucks until you have some serious parts, thats what I did and it works great!!!!
Do the intake/tuner/exhaust first then think about a TB

With your mods, the standard 80mm TB is the way to go. Unless you actually upgrade the heads and cam, an over sized TB will likely only give you bragging rights with no performance benefits, and likely with some drivability issues. :4-dontknow:

And I would only go BBK 85 if it was forced induction!

thanks to all your help
