Gear sway 09-12 1500 Hemi
Hello i was just thinking about my truck could use a little more bottom end power. My 2011 1500 hemi already has the LSD 392 rear end. But what do you guys think of the 410 gears? I dont want to run the 456 because i do alot of freeway driving with my truck and i dont really want a big change in RPM at crusing speeds. What do you guys think:smileup:

3.92's to 4.10's isnt worth it..too close. the logical next step is 4.56's. what size tires are you running now. i run 31" 17's and my mileage is very good for 4.56's...

I just think after doing the math the 456 would change my rpm's a lot. I also have the stock 20" sport wheels. Thanks

Think 4.10's are the lowest you can get for the 11's.

how big of a difference did the 4.56 make on the track(1/4)

Remember that the lower the ratio the less pinion to gear you have. It most likely won't make much difference, but if you're looking at tracking the truck, you want the most tooth to tooth contact possible.

Frankly a tighter wound torque converter might yield a better time at the strip.
