dodge dealers, always re-check them,...

i brought my truck to the dealer to get my diff oil change and transfer case because they know what their doing,... and to get it done the right way

well thats what i tought

a week or two after i went , i floor the truck from around 60km/h to pass a car,.. and the back-end felt like it was jumping just like if my truck started to spin the weels on a non stable surface,..

i talk about it to my neighbor and he told me that when he had his diff oil change and they forgot the additive and it did the same when he made his truck work hard,..

so i ask him were he went and it was a different dodge dealer that mine

so i went back to my dealer to check if they put the additive in my diff plus the synt oil, he says that normally yes but he check my invoice to make sure

guess what , dodge did not put the additive in my diff,...

they corrected the situation right away but their lucky nothing broke...

so i guess from now on , always check the dealer to make sure they did the job the right way....

I generally read each ticket/invoice and service report before I leave. I've caught a few things and have had to remind the dealer they haven't totally completed the service.

yeah well from now on i will do the same,...

And in my case it wasn't just a Dodge dealer, either.

I lost an engine because of an "oversight" by a dealer service department (GM) and while they replaced the engine, it was such a hassle that I always check their work.

thats not the kind of service were looking for,... did they replace it with a new one or a junkyard one

I agree and do the same thing myself. I have had them overfill the oil before, not fun when you find out after a little street fun lol but glad they corrected it and there was no damage!
