Raced a 08 GMC Denali
So my coworker/cousin is a die hard GMC boy has been his whole life and always gives me a hard time for getting my Ram. Last Friday at work he was giving me a hard time saying how my Ram is under powered and blah blah blah i just smiled and said lets take a drive and see if you can keep up. Long story short i let him say go so he got half a truck jump on me but by the time i hit my limiter he was 2 trucks plus back from me lol. Then came the excuses ohh he says my trucks throwing a code and my foot slipped the regular shit. oh my truck is 100% stock and his is 400+ hp 400+tq with a chip, intake and cat back exhaust i can't wipe the smile off my face.

Thought you guys might get a kick outta that

That is awesome!!! It's always a good feeling when your able to put someone in their place without talking trash...

I should also add that he ran a 14.8 at 94 mph so not sure where that puts me gets me pumped to hit the track next year. Next on the list is my buddy that has a 2011 FX4 F150 cab and a half with the eco boost. I think i might have a tough time with him but i am up for the challenge

Ecoboost is a fast truck. A friend has one and they give a lot of sport cars hell. Good luck! I want to get my Crew Cab where it will run good enough to suprise me.

Where that puts you depends mostly on the configuration of your truck and driving skills. For example: 2wd or 4wd? Stone stock or not? And perhaps most importantly, standard cab or 4 door, and what gear ratio?

If you have a rcsb 2wd hemi truck with 3.92's, it's probably capable of high 13's in cool weather on a halfway decent track. If you have a crew cab 4x4 laramie with 3.21's it might be low 15's.

LMAO he full of excuses. Show him my video and he will see that the outcome is normal. I also raced a 2010 6.2L Crewcab silverado from a dig and i drag his butt and i didnt even manual shift. I left it in drive
