Painting/removing cruise control inserts
Hey guys, I'm trying to paint the black trim pieces AROUND my cruise control buttons on my steering wheel, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to pop them off. Anybody done this before?

I believe there may be a bolt on the backside? I know it is plugged in via a pigtail.sorry alldata isn't coming up with much for this!

No problem, got it all figured out! In case anyone wants to know, on my third gen there are two 10 mm bolts on the very back of the steering wheel. I unplugged the truck and let it sit for a while since I would have to be pulling the airbag, but once the two bolts on the back are out, the airbag and cover can pop right off, and BAM, there are you cruise control screws. I didn't even have to remove the airbag, just pushed it out of the way. Removed the screws you see here holding the cruise control pieces on, carefully taped and painted, and reversed.
