Canned tune or Custom?

I am now waiting on my Vararam Intake to show up, and am wondering if a can tune is still good for the mods I have or is it time to email tune?

Can the PCM still adapt to A/F with a Diablo tune on it?

A canned tune is a general tune for all mildly modded vehicles, a custom tune will always get you better results based on YOUR vehicle. If you can get a good tune, then do so, you might be surprised how much you can get compared to the canned tune. With your mods there won't be much of a gain over the canned, but it optimizes your current mods.

I agree...a canned tune will suffice, but, you have enough mods that a custom tune would definitely give you better results..

A canned tune will work just fine.

you said email tune, does that mean a send your PCM in type of tune or a dyno tune?

If its not a dyno tune there really wont be much difference in a can and email tune.

no..email datalogs to a cmr tuning, he will create a tune and email it back. rhan upload to diablo tuner, than to truck

I've seen folks get a great bump with an email tune. The tuner will want some logs of the engine, the tuner tweaks, sends a tune back to you. A lot of them will do this 2 or 3 times for a flat fee.

Haven't been on in a while, where did you get a Vararam for the 4th Gen!?

A custom tune would always be better than a canned tune. The more mods you have the more of a difference it will make too.

they are just getting to be released to production from what I've heard...looks slick..
