Vararam 3G?
Most of what I'm seeing talked about is the 4g does anyone have any input on the 3g even better a 3g 2500? I am really close to ordering one but wanted some more info from those who have it or know about it. I have seen that some say it dosen't seal well (to throttle body and the lid itself) Any real world feedback (everyday driving) would be appreciated.

I don't drive far most of the time but don't something that I need to worry about every time I drive my truck.

Not sure if this was the right thread, saw another Vararam thread here tho.

I had one and sent it back after 4 months, performance was great but materials were poor. Plastic was too flimsy to seal properly, dirt was getting into the TB and I always had to "adjust" something when I was under the hood. I think the 4G model is a lot better built because of the design(no tubes and it looks like a lot stiffer plastic material) and their customer service was top notch.

05ram Thanks for the feedback, I called Steve from Vararam with some questions and he addressed all my concerns so I went ahead an ordered it from him. My DS Predator and Vararam will be in next week and will post back how it works out. I have never done a review or any thing but will give it a shot.

Sorry I didn't wait for more responses was in a hurry to get everything here while I had time to install it all and play with it!

I think most people made them better by making brackets to hold the tray in one spot. I'll try to find pics of the setup. They do make some great power on that motor!

I would have a BFI if I had a 3rd gen, but the 4g Vararam is a perfect setup with the downdraft throttle body
