I have had the same issue. I will go for a month and then I'll get cold air out of the heater and realize that the coolant level is down about a gallon. This has happened twice for the last two...

This sounds really interesting....it would also tend to backflush the heater core at the same time...........I really don't know if it would be good but I'd like to hear what others had to say about...

I flushed my radiator and ran water both ways...

I flushed my radiator and ran water both ways through the heater core and had good heat for 2 or 3 days......now my heater is blowing out luke warm air on both sides.....it was blowing cool air on...
