Unhappy peeling paint

My 96 Ram has been peeling paint for several years. One body shop said a new paint job would be more than what the truck is worth. I've heard that 1996 was a bad year for paint. Any truth to that?

I found the fuse, and it appears to be ok. If not the fuse, what else should I look for, short of replacing the entire module?

The thermometer/compass

I have a '96 Ram, and the thermometer/compass console is blank-nothing at all. Where do I begin to locate the problem? Could it be a fuse? It was working just fine, then nothing.:sad:

Well, I tried using a puller to get the rotor off, with no luck. Put the wheel back on and took it to a nearby shop. The guy worked on it with a slide hammer for over an hour, and he couldn't get...

Its the bearing that is behind the washer, at least that is where some of the pieces were. A torch? Didn't know it could be that bad.

Yep, hub nut is off, as is the caliper. Wheel will rotate, but the rotor is really stuck on. Have I missed anything ? Its getting late, so may take it to the man in the morning.

The LF bearing is shot, but cannot get the rotor off. I tried heating the center with a torch and hitting the rotor with a hammer, but it hasn't moved a bit. Any ideas from you fellers? I may have...

no brake lights

Hello, I'm new to the forum. My problem is no brake lights on my 96 Ram. The 3rd light works, though. Bulbs are good, so where should I begin looking?
