2101, 2106 and 2172 refer to Throttle Actuator Control System. 2172 refers to "Sudden High Airflow Detected" Try cleaning the throttle body.

Plugs are not really necessary 'til 50K miles. I changed the plugs on my C at 48K. They were ready with the gaps at .0050-.0053, but 30K is premature, IMO.

How much oil did you use? I too, used Fram filters for years with no problems. Platinum plugs are not recommended for the Hemi, but they're not the cause of the tap.

100% correct. Not necessary to spend big bucks on plugs. NGK 5306s will do the trick just fine.

Auburn or DTT. My choice will be DTT. While you're in it, consider re-gearing depending on your application. You probably have 3.92s. Unless you're on the highway a lot, 4.56s might have some value.

Probably a bit like the Hemi. Are they buried by the brake booster? If so, many people remove the left front wheel and the fender liner and go in from underneath. Good luck.
