Mine has done ok. A few times it has told me that I was off the grid so to speak. I eventually plan on getting a map update, but will wait a couple of years to get more for my money.

ramfan's truck came with a camera, so the cutting and swapping wires is part of the procedure to get that feature. If your truck doesn't have a camera installed, there is no cutting out wires.

testiclops, I am able to remote start my truck from 300+ feet away 90% of the time. I have the factory remote starter. I'm even successful in doing it through walls with no sight of my Ram.
