I installed a 1.5" level in front on my '06 4x2, and the ride got really stiff. Going over speed bumps was nearly a stop and crawl event. Changed to some Rancho RS5000 and the ride is back.

For a 2006 SLT Quad Cab 2WD, I highly recommend the Daystar 1.5" leveling kit (spring spacers) (about $40) and Rancho RS5000 series...

Just installed a pair of Rancho RS5000 (RS5281) shocks today. Made a big difference. Brought the ride back after installing a 1.5" Daystar leveling kit a few months ago.
