Thumbs down vacuum pump

Has anyone had problems with their vac pump blowing up? Mine split and blew a large chunk out this morning and I lost all my oil. Had to be towed home. Just wondered how many have had this happen.

I have the factory manual that says to back out...

I have the factory manual that says to back out the mtg bolts 1/4 inch and hammer away. Tried that, not working. Looking for a Dodge tech that knows this problem and might chime in. Thanks
