UPDATE, ok I pulled the caliper on my left side (the more corroded and rusty side somehow) and took it to a friends garage where we tried to vice it down and unscrew the bleeder to replace it....

Yeah it was gunky nasty. Seems like the new one makes a funny sound like when it engages I think... or maybe the old one did too when your under the hood with it running, and I just never noticed cuz...
