I looked for 2 hours under the dash without finding the switch connector. I would have thought it to be there as well since the truck had the fuse, relays, and light wiring.

I know that when they do mess up, the engine acts like it has a large vacuum leak (which it does if the EGR tube breaks).

Plus, we don't have emissions testing here. If there isn't a need for it, I don't mind removing it. Just something else expensive to go wrong...

Dodge stopped putting them on the '97+ Ram 5.9's. the '94-'96 has them. That is why the Hughes Air Gap and the Mopar M1 intake manifold have the EGR valve holes in them.
