Higher air flow filter element

In your photos (why so small??) it looks like there is a paper or OEM air filter panel. To improve air flow volume and velocity to the TB as you desire, you may have to install a K&N or your choice...

Excellent choice in an air filter that you selected a filter with the velocity stack, instead of a plastic or rubber end cap.
