The dipstick will (supposed to) go straight down into the pan... I took the measurements and the pan is 9 inches from where it bolts to the block to next to the drain plug. The dipstick tube is 15...

Check your dipstick tube where it meats the block and make sure it is not bent... it may be bent enough to where it is making the dipstick ride along the side of the pan and not go down in the oil....

I agree with Gen1. The design aspect of the Keg Style intake is a pain and I don't understand why they just didn't put an intake on like the Huges air gap in the first place... just makes more sense...

The cap that says Enine Oil is where you check the oil level and the Engine Oil Fill is where you add the oil... Like hydrex suggested I would check your oil level on level ground after you engine...

Your fuel pressure is on the low side... it should be at 45-52 psi when you turn your key on... a bad crank sensor would cause it to act up like that too... vaccum leaks... mis routed wires... hope...

When you swapped transmissions, did you change fluid and filter and adjust the bands? Your bands may be out of adjustment and causing the problems. The TV cable may need to be adjusted as well......

Did you try the key method or hook it up to a scanner? Not all codes will show with the key method... What was the pressure reading? It should be between 45- 50 PSI... if it was below 45, your pump...

My 02 I had the same symptoms... changed the computer first (P601) Had a gob of codes after the PCM change. Did a "clean sweep"... I figured with all the miles snd age why not... still had problems...
