I dont know if this will help as im not a mechanic and the same problem where my 02 ram would idle rough then this morning it wouldnt idle at all. The problem was a 1 inch piece of5/16 hose...

hey i had the same problem it was the blend door...

hey i had the same problem it was the blend door located behind the glove box I cut the plastic screened and removed it becuase it was broken. Havent replaced it yet but heat works fine. Good luck.

ok Thought issue was resolved but it continues brought the truck in twice and they couldnt figure out the cause for the coolant loss so it is now at the Dodge Dealer hopefully they can figure it out

ok i thought the problem was corrected with the overheating issue but it continues, I brought the truck in twice to two different mechanics, the issue is it seems air is somehow entering the system,...

Smile I think issue is resolved

I believe the issue has been resolved. The small hose that runs from the top of the radiator was blocked from debris. I cleared the line and bled the system again and now engine is not overheating...

Not sure about the thermostat temp range repair shop replaced it that would explain the higher temp range thanks.. Also after bleeding the system before it over heated the second time i had heat on...

Here is the problem i'm having with my 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 4.7. The truck overheated I then refilled and bled the system and within minutes it boiled over and large amount of antifreeze exited...
