I built a 5" cool air ram from the filter box to the driving lite opening in the bumper and threw in a K&N filter. Made a small difference. 2002 4.7

4.7 exhaust manifolds

I have a 2002 Ram Quad 4.7. I have noticed the exhaust manifolds look like P shooters. (skinny). I have heard that some engines need some back pressure to maintain torque....

Looks like the differential vent to me. Loose end should be up as high as possible in case you run through a swamp to keep h2o out.

For the kind of driving you discribe, Monroe sens-a track should be fine. I just replaced mine on 2002 Ram Quad.
