Sounds to me like you have a bad throttle...

Sounds to me like you have a bad throttle position sensor (tps) that controls the overdrive .Search for that on the web and find out the voltage values and test yours.

After having my 1994Ram with the cummins wrote off due to a crash I bought a used 2004 Ram 1500 with the 4.7 gas ingine. I have done some research on this forum and not realy liking what Im reading...
