the vacuum lines come up pretty high on the back...

the vacuum lines come up pretty high on the back side of the heater control switch.. you have to remove the black plastic bezel and remove the heater control switch to get to the vacuum line junction...

you will need the spring perches off of the old 1500 rear end, or you will need the complete springs, hangers and shocks off of the 2500... also if its a 4x4, the gear ratios must match.

I highly doubt it needs an axle seal. but rear wheel seal yes.. I always replace the rear wheel seals and inspect the rear wheel bearing when doing a brake job.

There is a lot that could go wrong before the coil... infact, the coil is almost the last thing to check.. First thing, with the key on, make sure that the ignition fuse is good in both the underhood...
