I hope your fuel consumption expectations aren't too high. I have a 5.9 in my 97 and I get (no real highway driving, but mixed between city and rural pavement) about 12mpg.

Ummm. Really? In the computer controlled timing vehicles I've had in the past the computer only changes the timing by advancing or retarding off of a set Base timing, which you CAN change.

Got them last friday and had them installed...

Got them last friday and had them installed within 30 minutes of opening the box.

They don't require drilling or welding or anything except removing the old bump stop and utilizing those holes...

Done by a PO, but mine has dual exhaust and the spare is still down there. I guess I don't know what it sounded like before, but it sounds pretty dang good right now (if you like that sort of thing).
