35x12.5 or a metric equivalent is the biggest you'll be able/want to go with a level. There is a guy on here that says he squeezed 37" tires on his 4th gen but in my opinion it looks ridiculous, and I have no idea how he fit them. You have an earlier 3rd gen that clears 35x12.5 tires more easily than the later 3rd gens (06-08). Depending on the stance you want (tires sticking out or not) dictates what offset you should get. I'm not certain for your earlier 3rd gen on what offset guarantees clearing the 12.5 inch wide tire. I have -12mm offest (picture below) Those are 35"x12.5"s (well just under 34" mounted on the truck)
