Since the running gear is basically the same on all of the models, I don't understand why this is not available on the sport models. As much as I like the truck so far, had I known this before I may have chosen a different truck. I know there are aftermarket controllers, had one on my 2004, but after spending this much money would like to have the factory install. Any information and/or contacts at Chrysler would be greatly appreciated.
Did your truck come with a hitch and does it have the trailer connections on the rear bumper?? I know there are images on the net that show the 7 and 4 pin connectors on the bumpers of the Sport. If you have those connectors you should be able to have the factory one installed.
A lot of dealers say they aren't available because Dodge have not put out an accessory kit for them yet but I had one installed in my 13 SLT by having them order the parts separately for me.
