Default Side step mounts

Hello everyone:

I've recently received the nerf bars that I ordered for my '10 CC 1500.

I had to remove the OEM side steps in order to install the new ones. The OEM step bars came off very easily. What's not so easily is what I think are the "well nuts". They appear to be pressure sealed into the underside of the body.

These are the nuts that the OEM mounting brackets were bolted to. There are 3 sets of 2 on each side. According to the instructions with the nerf bars, I'll need to reuse at least one hole on each set.

Is there any way of getting these out short of drilling? They're of a different size than the mounting screws/ brackets on the new nerf bars, so I don't believe that I can reuse 'em.

thanks everyone

Exco
