I came from a Ford Ranger that was reliable as hell, but that's because they had perfected the Ranger design years ago and didnt change it. The f150 has yearly changes and that scares me, was the truck that bad to begin with that they have to change it all the time?

I'm not a fan of the Eco-boost and the 5L and 3.7L don't have enough miles on them to prove long term reliability.

The 5.3L although recently update with Cylinder deactivation and 6 spd automatic is still more proven then Ford's powertrain.

Don't get me wrong I prefer the Looks and interiors of the 2009+ F150 over the 07+ Silverado/Sierra, but reliability is more important...

So i'd take an extended cab 5.3L Sierra in the Nevada edition.
