Default Orange FRAM filters are GARBAGE

There is nothing wrong with conventional motor oil. The modern dino formulations are perfectly good. Synthetic oil is that much better at fully minimizing engine wear and is suitable for longer drain intervals.
If you've been using the Orange FRAM filter - I can tell you they are wortheless at filtration. Cut one open OR get on youtube and view them or GOOGLE up some of the studies.
Lower end FRAM filters are garbage.
