You do have the long tube headers right, if not get them? Just have them do a custom H or X pipe in full 3 inch piping. Chefred's exhaust would be an excellent setup for your truck. Your s/c will thank you for it. Boosted engines need larger exhaust tubing. I learned a ton on T/C 4 bangers on my last car and forum.. a 2.5L Scion VVT engine that has 10.4:1 compression runs a stock 2 1/2 inch pipe setup. All the top turbo tuning guys proved with dyno #'s that a 3 1/2 to 4 inch exhaust makes significantly more power vs the the stock pipes and 3 inch pipes at 10psi of boost.
Just a bolt on t/c kit with a 9-10psi tune in those cars on stock exhaust, increased power to the wheels from 150ish hp and 140 ish lbs. of tq. to 300lbs. of tq. and 330 h.p. One guy had a nasty boost spike of 16lbs and hit 400h.p on the dyno. He upset a lot of V-8 guys that day.
3 different guys had turbo setups on their rides before I left that board. All three where around 300 h.p. and getting 30-32 mpg on the highway. 4 mpg's better than stock!
