Almost every hood I have installed that wasn't a oem part from a dealer needed tweaking. Even oem hoods aren't perfect when you get into fiberglass although they are better than aftermarket. Anytime you do a test fit if nothing lines up they probably make sht hoods. I have had customers being me these carbon fiber and fiberglass hoods for and camaros and always need a little or a lot of work. Sun coast makes a decent hood that usually fits with some tweaks. There are a few others that make decent hoods but not sure about the rams. Honestly if I was going to swap the hood I would just get one from dodge. It costs more but usually less headaches and if you can't install it yourself a shop will charge a good amount depending on how much work it is. I don't even do body kits or hoods unless I can test fit it myself and give a quote on how much extra it will be cause usually it at least $150 or more to make a hood fit.
