Default o2 sensor fitting and extra parts?

I recently received my Vararam CAI and installed it into my 2007 ram 1500.
The directions say to place the sensor in the hole on the red hose at a 7 o clock position. Got all that taken care of, however the sensor is just sitting there with nothing really holding it in. I'm worried it will rattle out. I have it duct taped for now, but surely there is a better way to secure it?

My 2nd issue, although minor because the CAI definitely works, noticeable power gain. I have an extra foot long black hose that came in the box with all.the clamps and nuts and bolts, as well as a small L bracket......not the one used to support the system. Just curious what I missed sinced I followed directions to the T. (Or so I think)

Thanks ahead of time for any help you guys have.
