Default Ball Joint Squeal

Hello folks! I've got an issue with the front end on my truck and am hoping someone may have experience with this. I've got a 2010 Ram 1500 Sport 5.7 Hemi. About a week ago I heard an awful squeaking sound coming from my front end as I drive over bumps and as well when I turn. I had a buddy turn my wheel while I took a look under, and it seems that it's my passenger lower ball joint making the noise. There is nowhere to grease, so I'm assuming I need to replace the lower joint (both sides).

In the 4th gen electronic service manual, it states that changing the lower ball joint is not recommended but to change the whole lower control arm. For the upper ball joints it does not say this(I thought it was the opposite?). Is this correct? Has anyone changed their ball joint(s) on the 4th gen ram and can shed some light? Also, know of any reputable part sites that I'd be able to order what I need (to Canada).

Thanks!
