Wow... such pessimism. This project is not dead. That said, I fully understand any disappointment in the delay. Per my last update ( http://www.ramforumz.com/showpost.ph...&postcount=106 ), not much has changed so I have not updated the thread... any such update would be personal and not project related.

As far as breaks go, as you can see, I have a rather unique solution for breaks on this project that would not work for any project with a need to be driven on the street. What I can tell you is that for the 2003 Ram 2500, you will need 17" wheels or larger to clear the calipers. Originally I had planned to us Humvee beadlock wheels (16.5") and tires (cheap), but they will NOT fit without shaving the calipers (not a good idea to increase tire size and weaken the breaks at the same time).

With any luck, our house in Joplin, MO will sell soon and I'll be able to get back on track with Project StormTrooper.
