I put one on my chevy truck a few years ago, and it made a VERY noticeable difference in starting and Idle quality. I also noticed less pinging when towing a trailer. It made so much difference in fact, that I was able to tow a two car trailer with two mustangs on it while burning the 87 octane gas. Before the spark box, I had to use 91 for the same load, or 93 on a hot day to keep it from pinging on grades or hills.

I had a .040 over 350 with flattops and a 3 angle 2.02 valve job with a flat tappet RV cam, 180 degree thermostat, and a hypertech racing chip though, it was pretty ping-happy with a good load on it, but it ran hard at the 1/8th track....
