Default Parking Brake Pedal Not Coming Up Fully

Hello All. Lately the parking brake pedal on my 2009 4x4 is not coming back to the top when it is released. I have to lift up on it with my foot to get the "BRAKE" light to turn off. The parking brake is fully disengaging, so I believe that the problem is in the pedal assembly itself. It almost seems that there is a spring worn out. I have lubricated the linkages under there, and that has seemed to be no help at all. Is there an adjustment somewhere to increase the tension of the spring? Do I need to tighten the cable under the truck? Any advise that you can provide would be greatly appriciated!
Thanks!
